King's Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) and the Kentucky Heart Foundation, Inc. (KHF) are committed to providing ongoing opportunities for health professionals and interested community members to gain the latest knowledge and skills in the field of medicine, and to earn or maintain their certifications. Throughout the year, KDMC and KHF host educational events and conferences featuring local experts and nationally renowned presenters. Most of these events are free of charge or have a nominal fee.

Faculty disclosure statement: The faculty disclosure policy of KDMC and KHF requires that faculty participating in an educational activity disclose to the audience any relationship with a pharmaceutical or equipment company which might pose a conflict of interest with regard to their contribution to the activity. Full disclosure will be provided at the time of the activity prior to presentation.

Primary Care Pediatric Neurosurgery

Friday, May 11 • Noon - 1 p.m. King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Ky. Health Education Center (lower level of Lexington Avenue parking garage) Lunch will be provided.

TARGET AUDIENCE & PURPOSE 

This program is targeted for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and other healthcare providers. The educational program is intended to enhance the knowledge and skill of the healthcare professional in the diagnosis, referral and management of the variety of abnormalities to the skull and spinal cord in the pediatric patient.
