KDMC Physician to Discuss Ear, Nose & Throat Issues in Portsmouth

A variety of ear/nose/throat issues will be discussed by KDMC otolaryngologist Alfred Sassler, D.O., at a luncheon lecture noon-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the Scioto County Welcome Center, 342 Second St., Portsmouth.

The “Exactly What Does An Otolaryngologist Do?” discussion will take place during a light lunch. Lunch is free, but reservations are required by calling 1.888.377.KDMC by noon the day before the event.

Otolaryngology is the branch of medicine that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat, head and neck disorders.

Dr. Sassler practices in Ashland and Portsmouth. He is a medical school graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa. He continued his medical education with an internship and residency at U.S. Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, Va., and a fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Mich. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
