Office of Audit, Compliance & Ethics
King’s Daughters Medical Center (“KDMC”) has developed a Corporate Compliance Program to ensure that it conducts its operations and provides services in a manner consistent with its mission, charitable purposes and in compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations.
It is the responsibility of every employee and member of the professional staff of KDMC to ensure they conduct themselves in a manner consistent with KDMC’s Code of Conduct and other KDMC and Corporate Compliance policies.
KDMC takes issues regarding fraud, waste and abuse seriously. It is important that all employees and individuals associated with KDMC (1) comply with the standards contained in the Code of Conduct; (2) immediately report any suspected violations; and (3) assist, as needed, in investigating allegations of wrongdoing. While there will be no retaliation allowed on those who raise issues, failure to observe the provisions of the Compliance Program and associated policies and procedures of KDMC can result in serious consequences to both the employee and KDMC in the form of termination, criminal charges and substantial monetary fines.
