ASHLAND, KY — King’s Daughters is pleased to announce Mark Detherage, M.D., has accepted the new position of chief quality officer.
In his new role, Dr. Detherage is responsible for advancing overall quality services, including clinical quality, patient safety and process improvement, as well as compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
A family practitioner, Dr. Detherage joined King’s Daughters in September 2001, practicing at Flatwoods Family Care Center. In October 2005, he was named medical director of KDMC’s Family Care Centers and Occupational Medicine program.
Dr. Detherage is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He earned his medical degree in 1997 from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and completed his residency in 2000 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, S.C.
