ASHLAND, KY — The King’s Daughters Breast Care Center recently named Debbie Buckland Alexander, R.N., Breast Health Nurse Navigator. In her new position, she will educate and support patients and families throughout their diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
Alexander, a 26-year team member at KDMC, worked in the Breast Care Center for the past six years. She also has more than 18 years of cardiac nursing experience.
The Summit, Ky., resident earned her Registered Nursing degree at Ashland Community College.
Housed in King’s Daughters’ Outpatient Imaging Center, the Breast Care Center provides mammography services, as well as breast ultrasound and DEXA osteoporosis scans. The mammography units feature digital technology, which improves the quality of the breast image.
