Ashland, Ky. - King’s Daughters Medical Center welcomes intensivist Rafael Coplin, M.D. Dr. Coplin joins Ziya Bilen, M.D., and Traci Sanchez, M.D., providing critical care services in KDMC’s intensive care unit, 2201 Lexington Ave., Ashland, Ky. 
Dr. Coplin earned his medical degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santa Dominga, Dominican Republic; completed internship at Lincoln Memorial and Mental Health Center, Bronx, N.Y.; and completed residency at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. Dr. Coplin completed a critical care fellowship at Albert Einstein Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in infectious diseases.
