Ashland, Ky. - King’s Daughters Medical Specialties - Pulmonary and Critical Care will present a free health fair from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, July 27. The event, “SMOKERS — It’s O.K. To Be a Quitter,” will take place at the KDMS - Pulmonary and Critical Care office at KDMC Medical Plaza B, 613 23rd St., Suite G30, Ashland, Ky.

The event will include a reception from 1 to 2 p.m. with light refreshments, pulse oxymetry and blood pressure screenings followed by a smoking cessation presentation by physician’s assistant, Robin Presley.

“This presentation is for smokers and their family members,” said Presley. “We care about their long-term health and want to enable them to make informed decisions by providing details about smoking risks as well as opportunities they have to quit through the tobacco cessation program offered by King’s Daughters.”
