Gastroenterologist Morris W. Beebe to see patients at the Olive Hill Family Care Center

 

Beginning March 30, King’s Daughters gastroenterologist Morris W. Beebe, M.D., will see patients every other Wednesday at the Olive Hill Family Care Center, 391 West Tom T. Hall Blvd., Olive Hill, Ky. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Beebe, please contact his office staff by calling (606) 327-1760.

As a gastroenterologist, Dr. Beebe is involved with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, pancreas, liver, gallbladder and biliary system.

Common and important conditions seen by Dr. Beebe include:

  • colon polyps and cancer
  • hepatitis
  • gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn)
  • peptic ulcer disease
  • colitis
  • gallbladder and biliary tract disease
  • nutritional problems
  • irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  • celiac disease
  • pancreatitis

Dr. Beebe is a 1978 medical school graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky. He continued his medical education by completing an internship (1979) and a residency (1981) at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Memphis; as well as a fellowship at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Ohio, in 1983.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Beebe has a subspecialty certification in gastroenterology.
