Neonatologist Lauze Volk,
M.D., has joined the medical staff of King’s Daughters Medical Center.
Dr. Volk is a 1998 medical
school graduate of the State University of Haiti, Port-au-Prince. She continued her medical education by completing
an internship at Hopital de I'Universite d'Etat d'Haiti, Port-au-Prince, 1998; a
residency at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Ill., 2007; and a fellowship
at the Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Ill., 2010.
Board certified by the
American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr.
Volk specializes in the care of newborns and infants, especially those that are
ill or premature.
Dr. Volk joins Scott Knight,
M.D., practicing neonatology at KDMC.
