Hospitalists Mark Duff and Ahmed El-Gammal
join KDMC medical staff
Hospitalists Mark Duff, D.O., and Ahmed El-Gammal, M.D.,
have joined the medical staff at King’s Daughters Medical Center.
Dr. Duff is a 1993 graduate of the West Virginia School
of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg, W.Va. He continued his
medical education by completing an internship at Doctors Hospital, Columbus,
Ohio, 1994; and residency (1996) and fellowship (2004) at the West Virginia
University/Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, W.Va. He is board
certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. El-Gammal is a 1993 medical school graduate of the
University of Cairo, Egypt. He continued his medical education by completing an
internship at the University
of Massachusetts/Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, Mass., 2003;
residency at West Virginia University/Charleston Division,
Charleston, W.Va., 2005; and fellowship at the University of Florida, Gainesville,
He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Duff and Dr. El-Gammal join a growing staff of
hospitalists who specialize in treating inpatients exclusively at KDMC. Hospitalists manage and
coordinate the entire inpatient episode of care, working closely with the
patient's primary care physician or specialist.
