Interventional radiologist Hunter Boshell M.D., joins KDMC medical staff
Interventional radiologist Hunter Boshell, M.D., has joined
the medical staff at King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC).
Dr. Boshell completed
medical school (2003) and an internship (2004) at the Marshall University
School of Medicine, Huntington, W.Va. He
continued his medical education by finishing both a residency and a fellowship
at the University
of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Ohio (2010).
Board certified by the
American Board of Radiology, Dr. Boshell is practicing with Tri-State Radiology.
As an interventional radiologist, Dr. Boshell is
involved in the treatment of the patient, as well as the diagnosis of disease.
He treats an ever-widening range of conditions inside the body from outside the
body by inserting small instruments or tools, such as catheters or wires, with
the use of various X-ray and imaging techniques.
