King's Daughters Urgent Care Center, Ashland, Extends Hours

Beginning May 31, King’s Daughters Urgent Care Center will be open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The change in hours is a result of patient requests and an increase in patient volume.

The Urgent Care Center is located at 2245 Winchester Ave., Ashland.

“Our number one priority is our patients. Changing our hours of operation is a prime example of this dedication. When patients speak, we listen. We are constantly striving to better serve their medical care needs and find ways to make healthcare more convenient for them,” said Wanda Parker, Urgent Care Center director.

As for the start date of May 31, Parker added, “Memorial Day is a time when many primary care physician offices are closed. Being open that day demonstrates our commitment to providing care when people need it, especially for those seeking treatment for minor illnesses or injuries.”

The Urgent Care Center is equipped to provide a variety of diagnostic treatments including stitching lacerations, splinting fractures, X-ray services and lab.

King’s Daughters Urgent Care Center is recommended for immediate, non life-threatening illnesses/injuries not serious enough to require the services of a hospital emergency department. It also is a means of care for those who do not have a primary care physician or whose primary care physician is not available.

The Urgent Care Center can be reached by calling (606) 408-2600 or by visiting www.kdmc.com/urgent.
