Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for blood donation. Currently only three out of every 100 people in America donate blood.
King’s Daughters Medical Center is hosting a community blood drive Wednesday, May 19, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Health Education Center (lower level of the Lexington Avenue parking garage). Light refreshments will be served.
