KDMC Marketing/Public Relations Earns Eight State Awards

ASHLAND, KY — King’s Daughters Medical Center is pleased to recognize its Marketing/Public Relations team, which recently earned two Thoroughbred Awards and six Certificates of Merit at the Kentucky Hospital Association’s annual convention in Louisville.

Presented by the Kentucky Society for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing, Thoroughbreds are awarded to projects that have been recognized by public relations professionals as excellent examples of good communication.

Two Thoroughbreds were awarded to KDMC:

  • Total Campaign Advertising

  • Television Advertising

Six Certificates of Merit were awarded to KDMC:

  • Special PR Project: Air Ambulance Community Event

  • Special PR Project: Heart and Vascular Center Grand Opening

  • Education Program: Heart Adventure Challenge Course

  • Special Purpose Publication: 2007 Physician Directory

  • External Newsletter:Heart and Vascular Center Update

  • Writing: “The Future Is Now,” as featured in Vim & Vigor magazine
