at the Kentucky Heart Institute (KHI) offices, on the second floor of Medical
Plaza B, 613 23rd St., Ashland.
The open house
celebrates completion of renovation work, which began last fall. The new space
provides a larger waiting area, additional exam rooms, and private areas for
patient check-in and discharge. Physicians and staff of the three practices
that comprise the KHI – Cardiothoracic Surgeons of Kentucky, Kentucky Heart
& Vascular Physicians and Comprehensive Heart & Vascular Associates – will
participate in the event.

In addition to
tours of the newly renovated offices, participants will have the opportunity to
tour the cardiac catheterization laboratories at King’s Daughters, learn about
our new hybrid operating room where cardiothoracic surgeons and cardiologists
can work together as a team and learn more about the Kentucky Heart Foundation.

also will include giveaway items, refreshments and a chance to win a Kentucky
State Park getaway – it’s all about Heart R&R, after all!

Cardiac Workup: Designed to detect common diseases of the heart and
vascular system. Includes individual consultation with physicians and nurses.

Heart Screening: Includes
blood glucose, total cholesterol, blood pressure and EKG. Free. No appointment necessary.
