Conference speakers represented companies that have been recognized by The Great Place to Work® Institute on one or more of the "Best Companies" lists (including the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® and the Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America). Executives, human resources leaders and corporate communications professionals were among those invited to attend the Great Place to Work® Conference.

"Being named for the third consecutive year to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work list is an honor for everyone at King's Daughters and indeed our entire community," Higgins said. "We are pleased that our team members have ranked KDMC among the best places to work in America with regard to credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.
"We are committed to continuously enhancing KDMC as a great place for healthcare professionals to work, patients to receive care, physicians to practice medicine and volunteers to give of their time," he said.
Higgins has enjoyed a successful 28 years in human resources leadership in the healthcare and hospitality service industries. For the past 11 years, he has help create the framework to achieve a winning culture at KDMC and to drive a culture of recognition and relationships. He is a certified human resources professional and holds an associate's degree in Hospitality Management, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Organizational Development.
"With a great deal of pride, our entire team was represented at the national Great Places to Work conference," Higgins said. "It was humbling to be invited to take a place on the national stage as a conference presenter and share the KDMC success story describing our culture of excellence and the secrets of success that have been achieved through individual hard work and extraordinary teamwork.
"We are in excellent company," Higgins said. "When you look at this year’s list of top companies, you see superb customer service and quality. Sharing a position on the national roster with each of them signifies KDMC is truly among America's best employers."
