King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) vice president of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer Ramona K. Thompson has earned the designation of Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP) by the American Organization of Nurse Executives, whose credentialing center is the premier program for nurse leaders.

Thompson is a native of Russell, Ky., and came to KDMC in 1981 as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a member of team KDMC, she has held a variety of leadership positions.
