For the second year in a row, Modern Healthcare magazine, a leading healthcare journal in the U.S., has placed King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) on its national list of the 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare. KDMC was the highest ranking Kentucky hospital on the list.
This is the second year for the award, which is designed to recognize America’s most outstanding healthcare organizations. Modern Healthcare includes a wide spectrum of healthcare-related organizations on their list, including providers, suppliers and payers. The award focuses on organizations that allow team members to perform at their optimum level while providing patients and customers with the best possible care and services.
"This is another outstanding tribute to our nearly 4,300 team members who have developed a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction in all that we do," Fred Jackson, KDMC president/CEO, said. "It is with great honor that we accept this award on behalf of our team members, medical staff, volunteers, and board of directors."
In early October, KDMC was recognized for its quality outcomes in several categories by HealthGrades.
