The King’s Daughters Human Resources Department earned a national “Stevie Award” as the best Human Resources Department in America at the seventh annual American Business Awards celebration in New York City Monday, June 22. According to the American Business Awards, the event shone "a spotlight on the most outstanding executives, organizations and employees nationwide."
More than 2,600 entries were submitted for the 2009 American Business Awards. More than 200 executives nationwide participated in judging to determine this year’s finalists and Stevie Award winners.

This national award is a special honor for King’s Daughters and especially the dedicated professionals on the Human Resources team, three of whom also have earned national certification in their field.
Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” by the New York Post, the awards are the only national, all-encompassing honors program distinguishing great performances in business. The award acknowledges companies of all types and sizes and the people behind them, recognizing outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide. The ceremony was hosted by Fox Business Network anchor Cheryl Casone, and videocast live on the Internet, and broadcast nationwide via radio.
