Four advanced registered nurse practitioners from the King’s Daughters Medical Center Heart and Vascular Center recently received additional certification from Niehoff School of Nursing at Loyola University, Illinois.
All are advanced registered nurse practitioners (ARNPs): Suzanne Gilmore, Sandy Hall, Evie Hill and Amy Sieweke. The post-master’s certificate in Cardiovascular Nursing was awarded following completion of three academic courses and examinations. This certificate program in cardiovascular health and disease management is designed for nurse practitioners wishing to advance their knowledge and skills. The program also is appropriate for nurses employed in cardiovascular settings who seek to increase their on-the-job education.
