Boyd County resident Ronda Stevens, has been named director of Surgical Services at King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC).
Stevens brings to the leadership role 23 years of nursing experience. She has served in healthcare in our region as a staff nurse, charge nurse, and assistant director of Nursing. Stevens joined KDMC as the Outpatient Surgery Center nurse manager in 2005. Her performance as a nurse manager led to her promotion to Patient Services director in March 2008. She was named interim director of Surgical Services in September 2008.
Stevens earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. She and her husband, Craig, have two adult daughters.
