Radiologist Candy Howard, M.D., Ph.D., has joined the medical staff at King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC).
Dr. Howard joins the many physicians of Tri-State Radiology. She is a native of Ashland and has practiced in the region since 2006. She has extensive training in body and musculoskeletal MRI and cardiac imaging. Dr. Howard also is an assistant clinical professor of orthopedic surgery and assistant professor of biochemistry and microbiology at Marshall University, Huntington, WV.
Dr. Howard is a 2000 medical school graduate of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pa., with a combined medical/doctorate degree in molecular genetics. She continued her medical education by completing an internship at Marshall University in 2001; a residency at Thomas Jefferson University in 2005; and a fellowship in body and musculoskeletal MRI from Thomas Jefferson University in 2006. She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
