A new cardiology office has opened at Three Rivers Medical Plaza, Suite 103, in Louisa. Cardiologists Richard Paulus, M.D., Richard Ansinelli, M.D., and Arley Peter, M.D., are providing a full scope of cardiology care for the greater Lawrence County area. The cardiologists are part of Kentucky Heart and Vascular Physicians, Inc., a 10-physician practice based in Ashland, formerly known as Cumberland Cardiology. New patients are welcome. Appointments are required and can be made by calling (606) 638-1154 or (606) 638-9954.
Routine tests are performed locally at Three Rivers Medical Center, while more advanced testing, procedures and surgeries are performed at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
“Three Rivers Medical Center, area physicians and the people of Louisa and eastern Kentucky have been very supportive over the years, and we’re pleased to open an office in this community,” said Paulus, the founder and president of the practice. “The new office is an extension of the services we’ve been providing. Our focus is catching cardiovascular disease early and treating patients with appropriate medications, lifestyle changes and interventions to prevent them from suffering a serious event or complications. We also want to help patients with cardiac disease to optimally manage their condition so they can have the best quality of life possible.”
