Is quitting tobacco use one of your New Year’s resolutions? King’s Daughters Medical Center will offer a free tobacco cessation class in Olive Hill beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17 at the Olive Hill Fire Station. Those who enroll and stay in the program will receive a free three-month membership to either the YMCA in Ashland or Preferred Fitness in Ironton.

The 13-week Stop for Life program uses nicotine replacement therapy, education classes and group support. Classes will continue on Fridays at the same time and location as the first session.

The class is free (excluding nicotine replacement products) but registration is required by calling Wendy Withrow, King’s Daughters Family Care Center in Olive Hill, at (606) 286-8039.
