King’s Daughters Medical Center is here to help, with New Year, New You, a free health screening and education event designed to support area residents in keeping their health-related resolutions.

New Year, New You offers information on getting ready for exercise, Obagi Skin Care and rejuvenation and weight loss. The program is 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in King’s Daughters Heart and Vascular Center.

Free screenings include:

  • Healthy Heart with EKG, which includes total cholesterol, blood sugar, oxygen, pulse, respirations, blood pressure and a screening EKG. Results will be reviewed by a King’s Daughters cardiologist.
  • Joint pain, conducted by the physical therapists of King’s Daughters Rehabilitation Services
