King's Daughters Medical Center welcomed its first baby of the New Year at 3:29 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1 when Isaiah Hakeem Green was born.

Isaiah's parents, Dashianna Spencer and Dustin Green, said the baby wasn't due until Jan. 22, but Isaiah had other plans.

King’s Daughters obstetrician Navita Modi, M.D., delivered baby Isaiah, who weighed 7 pounds, 5.8 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

The family lives in Ironton, Ohio.

As KDMC's New Year's family, Dashianna, Dustin and Isaiah received a gift basket of baby supplies and toys from King’s Daughters Mother-Baby Team.
