Orthopaedic surgeon Charles Giangarra, M.D., has joined King's Daughters Medical Specialties — Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
Giangarra is an orthopaedic surgeon with Marshall Orthopaedics. He is now treating patients at KDMC’s main campus, practicing with orthopaedic and spine surgeon James Rice, M.D., and sports medicine and primary care physician Andy Gilliland, M.D.
Giangarra earned his medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate College of Medicine, Brooklyn, N.Y. He completed his residency at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, N.Y., and completed a fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic, Inglewood, Calif. Giangarra is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with subspecialty certification in orthopaedic sports medicine.
