King’s Daughters Occupational Medicine offices in Ashland have moved to 2025 Carter Ave. beginning Monday, Aug. 26. 

“Our new location is much more customer-friendly,” said Rhonda Heaberlin, KDMC Occupational Medicine supervisor. “We have more space, more exam rooms and very convenient parking.”

Occupational Medicine providers focus on helping employers keep their employees safe, healthy and on the job — and on helping them return to work as quickly as possible following accident or injury. 

Services include:

  • Employee examinations and testing
  • Preplacement exams — evaluates employee’s physical condition to ensure safe job placement
  • Surveillance exams
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) examinations
  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Respiratory exams — focus on employee’s cardiovascular and pulmonary systems to ensure safe use of respirators
  • Audiometric exams — measures possible hearing loss
  • Executive physical exams
