Ashland, Ky. - King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) recently learned it has earned a “Top 3” ranking in the Best Places to Work in Kentucky for large-sized companies (250 employees or more) for the second year in a row.
The process to identify Kentucky’s top employers is a rigorous two-part examination of the company’s work culture. The first part looks at policies, procedures and the makeup of the workforce. The second portion asks in-depth questions of the people who know the company inside and out: namely its own employees.
“At King’s Daughters, we understand and appreciate that it is our team members who create our winning culture,” said KDMC President/CEO Fred Jackson. “We are recognized by Fortune, Thomson, HealthGrades, Foster McGaw, the Best Places to Work in Kentucky and many accreditation organizations because of team members’ commitment to our patients, their families and fellow teammates,” he said.
The Best Places to Work in Kentucky program, now in its fourth year, is an initiative dedicated to finding and recognizing Kentucky’s best employers and to raise the bar among Kentucky’s employers by recognizing the very best throughout the state. It is sponsored by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resources Management.
