Ashland, Ky.— King’s Daughters Medical Center announces a new addition to its Senior Leadership Team. Andrea McKay, as Vice President of Ambulatory Services, will oversee leadership and program development for the departments of Medical Practice Management, Neurosciences, Therapy Services, Home Health and Home Medical Equipment.
“I am incredibly impressed with King’s Daughters and the world-class healthcare offered to the community. I have read about and studied about such facilities, but have not had the opportunity to participate in,” McKay said. “I have been overwhelmed by the hospitality here in Ashland and at King’s Daughters,” she said.
McKay most recently served the past six years as executive director of Wilson Care, Inc., a multi-specialty physician group affiliated with Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney, Ohio. She also has served as the director of Physician Practice Management with Ephraim McDowell Health Resource, Danville, Kentucky, and has served at director-level positions in physician development and business development. Her academic achievements include a master’s degree in Organizational Management from Bluffton University in Ohio, and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
“Andrea brings to us a unique blend of advanced business education, healthcare experience, and medical practice management expertise that will provide us with the leadership and knowledge necessary to further advance our organizational strategies,” said KDMC CEO/President Fred Jackson. “I believe Andrea will be a valuable asset to KDMC and our senior leadership team and will make significant contributions to achievement of the overall goals and objectives of our medical center.”
