ASHLAND, KY — King’s Daughters is pleased to introduce Cathy Cooper-Weidner, who has accepted the position of Information Services vice president and chief information officer.
In her new role, Cooper-Weidner is leading KDMC’s Epic Project—a $38.5 million technology upgrade designed to streamline the medical center’s clinical information systems.
Prior to joining King’s Daughters, Cooper-Weidner served as chief information officer (CIO) at Memorial Health System, South Bend, Ind. She also served as CIO at several additional hospitals, including Oakwood Health System, Dearborn, Mich.; Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati; and Clarion Health Partners, Indianapolis.
Originally from Ashland, Cooper-Weidner earned her Bachelor’s in Chemistry and her Master’s in Information Technology at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Ky.
