King’s Daughters Urgent Care Centers treat illnesses and injuries of adults and children who cannot wait for a traditional physician appointment but do not require the services of a hospital emergency department. At Urgent Care, patients are treated quickly – without an appointment – often in as little as 30 minutes.
King’s Daughters Medical Center on Monday unveiled a new mobile health unit to the Ashland community, which will be used to provide healthcare and screenings to business, industry and rural/isolated areas throughout KDMC’s service area. The new vehicle has been named The KDMC Auxiliary Mobile Health Unit, in honor of Auxiliary’s pledge of $150,000 to purchase the equipment. Total cost for the unit was $186,526.
