KDMC earned this distinction after a recent Joint Commission on-site review. King’s Daughters has earned the Joint Commission's Certificate of Distinction for Primary Stroke Centers. This certification recognizes facilities that make exceptional efforts to foster better outcomes for stroke care. Achievement of certification signifies that the services have the critical elements to achieve long-term success in improving outcomes.

Echocardiography is one of the leading tools in the diagnosis of heart disease, with more than 10 million echocardiograms performed annually in the United States.

King’s Daughters recently received re-accreditation from the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Labs (ICAEL). King’s Daughters echocardiography services have been accredited since 2007.
