Beginning May 31, King’s Daughters Urgent Care Center will be open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The change in hours is a result of patient requests and an increase in patient volume.

The 37th annual Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week is celebrated
throughout the nation May 16-22. Local emergency medical services
personnel will be honored by King’s Daughters Medical Center and Air
Methods Kentucky 10 air medical service Tuesday, May 18. The event will
take place 4-7 p.m. at the Park Place building, 1701 Central Ave.,
Ashland, featuring grilled hamburgers and hotdogs with all the
trimmings, gifts and presentations. About 100 EMS personnel are
expected to attend to enjoy the food and fellowship.
Registration is being accepted for the King’s Daughters Stroke
Symposium, which includes a dinner program Thursday evening, May 20,
and a day program on Friday, May 21. The symposium takes place at the
King’s Daughters Health Education
Center (lower level of the Lexington Avenue parking garage). To

audience includes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician

King’s Daughters Medical Center is hosting a community blood drive
Wednesday, May 19, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Health Education Center
(lower level of the Lexington Avenue parking garage). Light
refreshments will be served.
