King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) has received the Gold Seal of Approval™ from The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations for Primary Stroke Centers. KDMC earned this distinction after a recent Joint Commission on-site review.
Urgent care physician Seigfred Jalalon, M.D, has joined the King’s Daughters Urgent Care Center medical staff.
Beginning May 31, King’s Daughters Urgent Care Center will be open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The change in hours is a result of patient requests and an increase in patient volume.
The 37th annual Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week is celebrated
throughout the nation May 16-22. Local emergency medical services
personnel will be honored by King’s Daughters Medical Center and Air
Methods Kentucky 10 air medical service Tuesday, May 18. The event will
take place 4-7 p.m. at the Park Place building, 1701 Central Ave.,
Ashland, featuring grilled hamburgers and hotdogs with all the
trimmings, gifts and presentations. About 100 EMS personnel are
expected to attend to enjoy the food and fellowship.
