For the fifth straight year, King’s Daughters Medical Center has been named one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals by the Thomson Reuters Corporation based on its annual Benchmarks for Success study that evaluates the performances of more than 3,000 hospitals across the country. The list was released today by Thomson Reuters and is available online at http://www.100tophospitals.com. King’s Daughters has been among the Top 100 Hospitals since 2004.
King’s Daughters Medical Center’s (KDMC) Ironton Family Care Center will begin extended hours Monday, March 30. The new hours will be 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The Board of Directors of the American Medical Directors Certification Program (AMDCP) has announced that King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) physician, Katherine Carias, M.D., has been granted the title of Certified Medical Director in Long Term Care (CMD). Dr. Carias is one of more than 2,300 physicians nationwide who has received the CMD designation since the program’s inception.
