Medical Affairs
Medical Affairs handles the credentialing of physicians and allied health professionals on the medical staff at King’s Daughters. This includes verification of medical qualifications and insurance, and certifying new procedures to be performed at the medical center.
Allied health professionals who are certified through Medical Affairs include:
- physician assistants
- nurse practitioners
- nurse anesthetists
- nurse associates
This department also schedules all medical staff department/section meetings, including quarterly medical staff meetings.
