Learning and Organizational Development

The Learning and Organizational Development team is responsible for training KDMC team members to better perform their duties and continue to develop successful customer service skills. This department coordinates leadership education, continuing nursing education (CNE) and continuing medical education (CME) courses, CPR training, and customer service courses.

Also, the Learning and Organizational Development Department coordinates the collection and interpretation of patient satisfaction data. Every patient who visits the medical center, the Family Care Centers, or has Home Health services is asked to rate their satisfaction with the care and services they received.

Patient representatives also make regular visits to inpatients and their families and visitors throughout the medical center, including the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit and the Heart Center, to ensure their experiences are as comfortable as possible.
