Food Services promotes healthy eating among patients, team members and visitors, with fresh meals in patient rooms and in the restaurant-oriented Parkview Café.

A Pleasant Dining Experience

Customers in the Parkview Cafe, near the front entrance of the Center for Advanced Care, have the choice of a variety of meals, from the hot and hearty entrée to the well-stocked salad bar. The Parkview also offers pasta, fresh deli meats and salads, and a grill area. While dining, customers may enjoy the relaxing sights and sounds of the café’s panoramic view of Central Park and our wishing well.

Nourishing Our Patients

It is our top priority to provide our patients with hig quality, enjoyable meals that provide proper nourishment.

Accessible Snacks

Vending machines also are strategically placed throughout the medical center to allow visitors to get a quick snack without being far from the patient’s room.

Catering Services

We support other KDMC departments by offering catering services for meetings, celebrations, or other special functions.

Nutrition Counseling

Our team of clinical dieticians also is available to assist patients in weight management and special diets for conditions such as diabetes and high cholesterol.
