Safety and Security
The Safety and Security Department is responsible for ensuring safety for customers and staff at King’s Daughters, including all the buildings and parking areas on the main campus.
The Safety and Security Department operates 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. The staff, most of whom have earned certification as healthcare protection officers, enforce safety and security policies including parking violations, monitor security cameras, file incident reports and make sure alarms and other security systems are working properly. The officers also assist customers and team members by escorting them to their vehicles when needed, and jump-starting and opening locked vehicles, when necessary.
Valet Parking
Another feature of the Safety and Security department is the Valet service. The main Valet station is located at the King’s Daughters main entrance on 22nd Street, and offer services at our Outpatient Surgery Center, Medical Plaza A and the Heart and Vascular Center, as well. Valets help with traffic flow, assist customers in and out of their vehicles, park vehicles in a designated lot and retrieve them when the customer is ready to leave. Valet fee is $2, payable when you leave the medical center.
Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For complete information, visit our Parking Information page.
