Legal Services

The Legal Services Department provides in-house legal and risk management support and guidance for the medical center and its Board of Directors. The professionals in this department manage the medical center's Worker's Compensation program, are responsible for securing and overseeing King’s Daughters’ liability insurance coverage, and are responsible for litigation and claims management, as well as collection issues. Additionally, Legal Services reviews and approves all contracts at the medical center.

This department is also responsible for oversight of King’s Daughters’ Corporate Compliance program. All team members are educated upon hire and annually regarding regulatory, legal and ethical compliance issues. Legal Services also maintains a totally anonymous Corporate Compliance Hotline, in order to encourage the reporting of compliance concerns.
