Accounting and Managed Care
The Accounting Department is an important part of the financial activity at KDMC. Accounting is responsible for payment to all KDMC vendors and team members and for preparing the medical center’s financial reports.Other functions performed under the Accounting umbrella include:
- Managed Care:The Managed Care Department negotiates reimbursement arrangements with commercial insurance companies and evaluates managed care network participation.
- Reimbursement: The Reimbursement Department completes cost reports for governmental payors.
