Safe Kids - Car Seat Safety

King's Daughters proudly sponsors the River Cities Communities Safe Kids Coalition. The Coalition includes representatives from local organizations, law enforcement and others who are interested in  preventing unintentional injuries to children. The Coalition offers safety programs that include poison prevention, bicycle safety, school bus safety and car seat safety.

King's Daughters child passenger safety technicians are trained in the proper installation of infant/child and toddler seats in automobiles. They perform inspections for parents/caregivers and teach them how to correct any errors. There are specific, detailed rules regarding installation of car seats for infants, toddlers, young children and youths. Laws vary from state to state.
