Health Screenings

KDMC offers free health screenings throughout the year in nearly every corner of our region. The free screenings allow you to learn your health risks and monitor your health status. For information on upcoming screenings, please click on the Get Screened icon in the menu at the top of this page.

Screenings offered include:

Total Cholesterol
Lipid Profile
Glucose (blood sugar)
Blood Pressure
Blood Oxygen
Osteoporosis
Carpal Tunnel

Vascular/Circulatory Health

Ankle Brachial Index (ABI)
Carotid ultrasound
Abdominal ultrasound
Bruit (determines blood flow of the carotid artery)
Varicose vein screening

A healthcare professional at the event reviews abnormal test results.

Skin Cancer Screening

Quick assessment of suspicious areas by healthcare professionals. If any area is determined to need follow-up care, the screening provider will provide a referral to needed services.

Prostate Cancer Screening

Includes physical exam and PSA blood test. Participants must meet screening eligibility criteria.

Hearing Tests

Performed by KDMC audiologists. Tests are performed on a pass/fail basis to determine if the participant needs further testing for hearing loss.

Vaccinations

Based on vaccine availability, flu vaccinations are available each fall beginning in mid-October. Clinics are scheduled at various locations throughout the community. High-risk eligibility restrictions may apply.
