King’s Daughters Center for Heart Health is designed to help patients manage existing heart conditions and to assist people with abnormal cholesterol levels.
Our team includes nurse practitioners, registered nurses, pharmacists, dietitians and social workers who provide complete, individualized education to help patients maintain optimal wellness. The center helps patients remain in a stable, therapeutic condition to prevent complications, hospitalization and progression of disease. The center includes:
The Coumadin Clinic
The clinic allows patients and physicians to continuously monitor INR (blood levels) of those taking the blood-thinning medication Coumadin. Physician referral is required for the Coumadin Clinic.

This specialized clinic helps patients diagnosed with this condition to lead the most normal, active lives possible. The Team helps patients understand heart failure and how to take control of the illness. Services include:
- Personalized treatment plans and goals
- 24/7 availability by phone for urgent concerns (enrolled patients only)
- On-site laboratory with immediate results and medication review. Adjustments and changes are made if necessary.
- Infusion therapy
- Nutrition counseling
- Patient and family education programs
- Social services to help obtain assistance or medications
- Telehealth Monitoring
- Heart Failure Support Group
Physician referral is not required.
The Lipid Clinic
The
Lipid Clinic helps patients control abnormally high blood cholesterol levels that have not been controllable through diet, exercise or standard medication regimens.
A physician referral is not required.
Most of the services provided by the Center for Heart Health are covered by insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid.
