For patients on blood-thinning medications, regular blood level checks and medication adjustments are important. Our Coumadin Clinic offers a quick and easy way to ensure safety and effectiveness. Physician referral required.
The Lipid Clinic at King’s Daughters Prestonsburg provides services to help patients with difficult to manage cholesterol and lipid levels achieve the best control possible. Services include complete fasting lipid profile; risk factor identification; assistance with lifestyle changes; and medication management. Physician referral is not required
Pacer Checkup Clinic
Pacemakers and implantable defibrillators must be checked on a regular schedule to ensure they are functioning properly and within acceptable limits. During our Pacer Clinic, representatives of device manufacturers are on hand to test devices for battery charge, programming and other parameters. Services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans.
