For patients who come to us from far away, who don’t have a doctor, and those whose doctors don’t see patients in the hospital setting, King’s Daughters provides hospitalist services.

Hospitalists are physicians who work only in the hospital, with no outside clinic or practice. Hospitalists manage all aspects of an inpatient stay, including:

·       Ordering testing and interpreting results

·       Treatment planning and oversight

·       Bringing in needed specialists

·       Patient discharge and orders for follow-up in the outpatient setting

Our hospitalists, social workers and case managers work closely with the nursing staff, you and your family to ensure you receive the best possible care in a timely and effective manner.
