King’s Daughters Emergency Department is located on the first floor of the Medical Center on Lexington Avenue.

We are open 24/7/365 and staffed with board certified emergency medicine and primary care physicians.

The Emergency Team specializes in caring for patients with life-threatening illness or injuries as well as those whose condition, if not immediately treated, could experience significant loss in quality or length of life.

Our 10-bed Express Care Unit provides treatment for routine complaints, such as sprains, colds, sore throats, rashes, and so on.

All patients coming to King’s Daughters Emergency Department are evaluated within minutes by a triage nurse. The triage process helps ensure patients with the most severe/serious complaints are seen quickly.

King’s Daughters Emergency Department is the third busiest in the state, with more than 76,000 patient visits annually.
