Frequently Asked Questions
Can I set my account on a payment plan?
Yes. King's Daughters Medical Center offers payment plans. If you cannot pay in full and wish to make monthly payments, call us to make arrangements. Any bills received after you set up your payment plan can also be added to the payment plan, but you must call us to request this for each bill. Otherwise, each bill is due in full upon receipt. Your monthly payment amount may change as a result of additional charges.
Can I just send in regular payments without making arrangements?
No. Unless you call and make specific arrangements with us, your total balance is "due in full" when you receive the bill. Even if you make regular installments, if you haven't talked to us about a payment plan, your account will be regarded as being late.
Has my insurance paid its share?
You should receive a statement from your insurance company (called an Explanation of Benefits, or EOB) when your claim is processed. The EOB will tell you how much the insurance company will pay and when. It should also tell you how much you owe. If you need help understanding your EOB, you haven't received it or you misplaced it, we can check our records to see if your insurance has paid, how much, and your remaining balance.
Can I have a copy of my bill?
Yes, we can print a copy of your bill. You may either pick it up in person, or we can mail it to you.
