Pregnancy 101 classes begin Tuesday, Feb. 16, 6:30 to 9 p.m., in the KDMC Health Education Center (lower level of the Lexington Avenue parking garage), and will continue at the same time and place each Tuesday through March 9. Participants should be between 20 and 34 weeks gestation. The class is limited to 20 couples, and participants should bring two pillows. There is no charge for the class, but registration is required and can be made by calling (606) 408-7366.

But just a few minutes now could head off disaster later. So this February – American Heart Month – King’s Daughters Medical Center encourages you to find time for your heart. To make it easier, KDMC is offering a free, Healthy Heart Screening from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 at the Fort Gay Community Center in Fort Gay, W.Va.
